First Service Bank is pleased to welcome Ryan Barnard to the team as the bank’s new Financial Analyst and Audit Coordinator. Based at the Corporate location, Ryan brings a strong foundation in accounting, auditing, and community-focused service to his new role.
Ryan is a proud Greenbrier native and a 2023 graduate of the University of Central Arkansas, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Accounting and minoring in Finance. He previously worked at HCJ CPAs and Advisors for nearly two years as an Audit Staff Accountant, where he gained valuable experience performing audits for a range of businesses. Throughout college, Ryan worked in the Customer Care Center at First Service Bank, giving him firsthand insight into the bank’s operations and customer service culture.
Banking runs deep in Ryan’s roots — his family has a long history with First Service Bank, and many of the employees he grew up seeing at community events are still part of the bank today. “I’ve been around First Service Bank for as long as I can remember,” Ryan said. “My family has been connected to the bank for years, and that sense of loyalty and community always stood out to me. The culture and the people are what drew me here—many of the same employees I saw at bank events as a kid are still here today. That speaks volumes about the kind of place FSB is, and I’m excited to now be part of it.”
Ryan lives in Greenbrier with his wife, Morgan, and their dog, Hank. The couple has been married for one year and together for seven. He is actively involved in the community as a member of Greenbrier Nazarene Church and a volunteer with Operation Red, White and Brave (ORWB), First Service Bank’s veteran-focused foundation.
In his role as Financial Analyst and Audit Coordinator, Ryan will support the bank’s financial operations and internal audit functions. He looks forward to contributing to the bank’s continued success and making an impact both professionally and personally. “I’m most excited about making connections, being involved in the community, and helping the bank grow,” he added.
Julie Chambers, Chief Financial Officer at First Service Bank, expressed her excitement about Ryan’s addition to the team: “Ryan brings a strong mix of technical expertise and community-minded values that align perfectly with our mission at First Service Bank. His background in auditing and finance, paired with his understanding of our culture, makes him a valuable asset to our financial team. We’re excited to have him on board and look forward to his contributions.”
