The third annual Operation Red, White and Brave (ORWB) Gala was a powerful evening of remembrance, gratitude, and purpose—bringing our community together to support the brave men and women who have served our country. Hosted by First Service Bank’s ORWB Foundation, the event once again proved the incredible impact we can have when we stand united in support of our veterans, active military, and their families.
The night featured a full house of supporters, moving tributes, exciting raffle prizes, and heartfelt moments—but one of the most impactful highlights was our keynote speaker, Beau Wise, co-author of Three Wise Men. As the only known American service member to have lost two brothers in the wars in Afghanistan, Beau shared his deeply personal story of sacrifice, resilience, and service. His message reminded everyone in the room of the true cost of freedom—and why the work of ORWB is so essential.
“Each year, this event grows not just in size, but in the strength of its purpose,” said Rebecca Grumbles Barnard, ORWB Chairman. “It’s truly humbling to witness our community come together with such generosity and patriotism. Every dollar raised helps us change the lives of those who have given so much.”
Thanks to the generosity of our guests, sponsors, and community partners, this year’s gala raised significant funds that will directly benefit veterans through housing assistance, emergency support, and critical home repairs—providing dignity, safety, and peace of mind to those who have served. These funds also help grant meaningful wishes—such as sending 27 veterans on an all-expense-paid trip to Washington, D.C., to visit the memorials built in their honor—turning moments of gratitude into lifelong memories.
And remember—First Service Bank matches every donation to ORWB dollar for dollar, doubling the impact of each gift and ensuring even more veterans receive the support they deserve.
