Chris Pledger has been promoted to vice president and senior loan officer at First Service Bank.

โ€œChris is a strong part of our Little Rock team.  We are excited about this new role and are looking forward to continued success,โ€ Tom Grumbles, president and ceo.

Chris has been with First Service Bank since July 2019 and previously served as a business development and loan officer at the bank.

In his role as a senior loan officer, Chris will work with our Little Rock team to help them succeed and reach their customer goals.  โ€œIโ€™m most excited about the nature of the job,โ€ Chris said. โ€œLending is a passion, not just a job. Chris earned a business management degree, with a minor in marketing, from Arkansas State University. He has nearly 10 years of experience in the banking industry.

Chris said he would like to grow as a lender and one day serve as a mentor to work with younger bankers like he was helped. โ€œI love the professional goals and the leadership of the bank,โ€ he said. โ€œFirst Service Bank provides positive impact to become a leader with great personal development and growth.โ€

He and his wife, Libby, live in Little Rock. She is a mortgage lender at First Service Bank.
