Julie Chambers has been promoted to vice president of loan operations at First Service Bank.

With 13 years of experience at First Service, Julie previously worked as an administrative officer, credit analyst and loan operations manager. โIt has been very exciting to be a part of the growth in our loan portfolio and the expansion of loan products First Service Bank offers,โ Julie said. โThis expansion has created even more opportunities for our customers to achieve their personal and business goals.โ
First Service Bank was recently recognized by the Small Business Administration for its SBA guaranteed lending accomplishments. โThis growth and success would not be possible without our team, a group of lending professionals who go the extra mile every day,โ she said.

Graduating magna cum laude, Julie earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of the Ozarks. She also has a masterโs degree of accountancy from the University of Central Arkansas.
Julie, who grew up in Prim (Cleburne County), now lives in Greenbrier. She and her husband, Jack, have three daughters – Macy, Isabella and Amelia.
Julie said First Service Bankโs impact on the community is evident in several ways, including its strong support of schools. โWe partner with local schools in many ways, from teaching students about banking to tailgating for the big game. With this partnership, our associates are allowed an opportunity to invest in the future of not only our communities, but also of individual students.โ
Citing the bankโs Operation Red, White and Brave program, Julie added that First Service is also making an impact by supporting military veterans. โThis past year, I was able to contribute to this effort by spending a day putting up insulation on a new home for a veteran,โ she said. โWhat an honor and an amazing experience.โ
