Julie Chambers has been promoted to vice president of loan operations at First Service Bank.

With 13 years of experience at First Service, Julie previously worked as an administrative officer, credit analyst and loan operations manager. “It has been very exciting to be a part of the growth in our loan portfolio and the expansion of loan products First Service Bank offers,” Julie said. “This expansion has created even more opportunities for our customers to achieve their personal and business goals.”
First Service Bank was recently recognized by the Small Business Administration for its SBA guaranteed lending accomplishments. “This growth and success would not be possible without our team, a group of lending professionals who go the extra mile every day,” she said.
Julie said the First Service team’s commitment to customer service is what she likes most about working for the financial institution. “Through ice, snow and a global pandemic, our team has proven its commitment to meeting the needs of our customers,” she said. “Across the organization, we strive to go above and beyond to give our customers the very best experience.”
In addition, Julie enjoys the family atmosphere at First Service. “I believe a great deal of First Service Bank’s success can be attributed to this family atmosphere, where we are all invested in one another’s success,” she said. “We work hard each day, but also take time to come together to fellowship and celebrate our achievements.”
Graduating magna cum laude, Julie earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of the Ozarks. She also has a master’s degree of accountancy from the University of Central Arkansas.
Julie, who grew up in Prim (Cleburne County), now lives in Greenbrier. She and her husband, Jack, have three daughters – Macy, Isabella and Amelia.
Julie said First Service Bank’s impact on the community is evident in several ways, including its strong support of schools. “We partner with local schools in many ways, from teaching students about banking to tailgating for the big game. With this partnership, our associates are allowed an opportunity to invest in the future of not only our communities, but also of individual students.”
Citing the bank’s Operation Red, White and Brave program, Julie added that First Service is also making an impact by supporting military veterans. “This past year, I was able to contribute to this effort by spending a day putting up insulation on a new home for a veteran,” she said. “What an honor and an amazing experience.”
Looking to the future, Julie is excited about the growth at First Service Bank and the opportunities that growth presents for the employees and customers. She is also thankful for the leadership at First Service Bank and the loan operations team. “It is a joy to work alongside this team of professionals who are dedicated to producing quality work and providing exceptional customer service.”
