First Service Bank is proud to announce the promotion of Alissa Johnson to Assistant Branch Manager at the Little Rock location. Alissa, who will celebrate her third anniversary with First Service Bank this June, has been an important part of the team as a Universal Banker in our Conway market. In her previous role, she provided frontline customer service, assisted with banking transactions, opened personal and business accounts, referred customers for loan needs, handled wires and foreign currency orders, and promoted the bank’s full range of services.

First Service Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Sydney Wertz to Assistant Branch Manager at its Greenbrier location. Wertz, a native of Searcy who has lived in Greenbrier for three years, has been with First Service Bank since July 2022 (marking three years of service this upcoming July). She previously served as a Universal Banker, handling customer transactions, opening accounts, processing wires, and participating in community engagement.

Crist brings 16 years of banking and lending experience to her new role, having most recently served as a Mortgage Loan Officer at another financial institution. She will focus on mortgage lending and business development in the Saline County market.

Thorpe brings over 20 years of banking experience to his new role, having most recently served as a Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending at another financial institution. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.

First Service Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Cassie Swafford to HR & Payroll Administrator. Swafford, a native of Conway, Arkansas, most recently served as a Mortgage Loan Assistant, helping Loan Officers and Processors with secondary market purchases and refinances. She has been with First Service Bank for nearly three years since her rehire date and brings a total of five and a half years of banking experience to her new position.

Burgess, who joined First Service Bank 1.5 years ago as a Universal Banker, brings both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Central Arkansas to his new role. Originally from Hot Springs, he now resides in Little Rock.

First Service Bank is proud to announce that IvaNelle Meyer has rejoined the organization to support its Government-Guaranteed Lending Department. Meyer brings valuable experience in lending, including her previous role as a Loan Processor at First Service Bank for 1.5 years and her most recent position as a Commercial Loan Specialist at USDA Rural Development. In her new role, Meyer will prepare government-guaranteed loan applications and serve as a subject matter specialist for internal teams on program requirements and compliance.

Ludwig, who has been with First Service Bank for five years, brings nearly 11 years of banking experience to her new role—having worked on the front line as a teller, in deposit operations, check fraud prevention, and most recently, in loan operations.

In his previous role, he was responsible for opening accounts, processing customer transactions, promoting bank products, and building relationships within the community. He also served as a Customer Care Specialist prior to becoming a Universal Banker.
