First Service Bank Promotes Courtney Pennington to BSA Officer, Compliance/Audit Associate/

GREENBRIER, ARKANSAS – 2-2-2021 – First Service Bank, a full-service bank with 10 locations across Central Arkansas today announced the promotion of Courtney Pennington to BSA Officer Compliance/Audit Associate.

In addition to her current duties and responsibilities related to compliance and audit matters, Pennington will now be responsible for ensuring that First Service Bank remains in compliance with laws and regulations pertaining to the United States’ Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).

“This new position will give me the opportunity to ensure the protection of our customers, community and country from the abuses of financial crime,” Pennington said. “I look forward to growing my knowledge and understanding of the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering laws and regulations.”

Pennington, 25, graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a bachelor’s degree in Finance. She has worked in the banking industry for four years and has been on the staff at First Service Bank since 2019. Born and raised in Conway, Pennington and her husband, along with their seven-month-old baby boy, make their home in Greenbrier.
