From the ancient streets of Rome to the tranquil waters of Lake Como, the Travelers of First Service Bank recently returned from a truly unforgettable experience across Italy. The ten-day adventure, held June 4–13, 2025, brought together rich culture, breathtaking scenery, and lasting memories that will be cherished for years to come.
The journey began in the heart of Rome, where the group explored iconic landmarks, enjoyed exquisite dinners, and took in the grandeur of the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel on a guided tour. From there, they traveled north, making stops in Assisi and Perugia, where the medieval streets and charming views captured the soul of Italy’s countryside.
In Florence, the Travelers were immersed in Renaissance beauty before heading to Venice, a city like no other with its gondolas, bridges, and timeless charm. A highlight of the trip was a hands-on cooking class at a Chianti winery, where they experienced the warmth and tradition of Tuscany firsthand.
The adventure came to a perfect close with a visit to Lake Como, where the group enjoyed a scenic farewell dinner, reflecting on the memories made and friendships formed.
“This trip captured everything that makes Italy so special — history, beauty, and incredible moments shared together,” said Ina Standridge, Traveler Director.
Throughout the journey, the Travelers experienced the full flavor of Italy — from its world-class cuisine and wine to its deep-rooted traditions and unmatched hospitality. It was more than a vacation — it was a celebration of culture, connection, and the joy of travel.
We’re so grateful to everyone who joined us, and we’re already looking forward to where the next adventure will take us!
