First Service Bank branch manager and loan officer Tina Jones was born and raised in Mountain View, and she has been part of the First Service team there ever since they entered the Mountain View community fifteen years ago.
She says that the bank is involved in a wide range of organizations and activities that make up the heart of Mountain View’s community, ranging from the schools and the Chamber of Commerce to the Ozarka College and the 4-H club.
Tina herself serves on the Ozarka College Foundation board and the White River Medical Center Patient and Family Advisory Council, in addition to having served as Secretary of the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce and Secretary of the Richwood Water Association.
Tina says that she is hardly the only First Service Bank employee who serves the community, but her co-workers also volunteer their time by serving on the boards of organizations ranging from the Stone County scholarship foundation, Arkansas Craft School, and Ozarka College to Stone County Community Center and the Stone County Fair Association, just to name a few. They can also be spotted regularly volunteering at school sports events and festivals.
The bank also takes an official sponsorship role for festivals and schools, providing funding for scholarships, school supplies, and athletic equipment, in addition to sponsoring “In order for our town, local businesses, & community to thrive,” she says, “it is key to invest our time and energy.”
