First Service names Pledger vice president in Little Rock

Chris Pledger has been promoted to vice president and senior loan officer at First Service Bank.

“Chris is a strong part of our Little Rock team.  We are excited about this new role and are looking forward to continued success,” Tom Grumbles, president and ceo.

Chris has been with First Service Bank since July 2019 and previously served as a business development and loan officer at the bank.

In his role as a senior loan officer, Chris will work with our Little Rock team to help them succeed and reach their customer goals.  “I’m most excited about the nature of the job,” Chris said. “Lending is a passion, not just a job. Being in this new role helps me grow as a lender and helps me develop bigger goals for my career and our team’s success.”

Chris earned a business management degree, with a minor in marketing, from Arkansas State University. He has nearly 10 years of experience in the banking industry.

Chris said he would like to grow as a lender and one day serve as a mentor to work with younger bankers like he was helped. “I love the professional goals and the leadership of the bank,” he said. “First Service Bank provides positive impact to become a leader with great personal development and growth.”

He and his wife, Libby, live in Little Rock. She is a mortgage lender at First Service Bank.
