In her new position, she will ensure compliance with various regulatory reporting requirements, pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act and Office of Foreign Assets Control, perform customer and account reviews to detect fraud and other unusual activity, and serve as a line of communication to support staff on applicable bank policies and procedures.

“We are excited to have Jennifer join First Service.  We know her banking knowledge will give great strength to our team!”, said Andy Grumbles, CFO

“I had an opportunity with a local bank in Hot Springs and knew that it would fit well with my degree and interests,” said Jennifer, commenting on her first bank experience. “The satisfaction in BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) is knowing we are helping law enforcement crackdown on or stop illegal activity such as Identity theft, drug, and human trafficking, elder exploitation, romance scams, and other various forms of fraud that hurt our communities.”

Jennifer earned a bachelor of arts degree in business management with a minor in accounting from Ouachita Baptist University. A native of Miami, Jennifer and her husband, Orrin, live in Alexander with their daughter, Emily. Jennifer served as a team captain with Relay for Life for seven years before moving from the Hot Springs area to Alexander about two years ago.

Jennifer was drawn to First Service Bank because of the institution’s reputation. “First Service has been voted one of the Best Places to Work many times, which speaks to the culture of the company and management,” Jennifer said, adding that she was familiar and impressed by the bank’s big U.S. flag at its Little Rock location. “I really enjoy working in BSA and I always want to continue to grow, learn and support others.

“At First Service, I am most excited about expanding my overall knowledge of audit and compliance while supporting staff with their BSA questions and concerns.”
