First Service employees ‘all stars’

First Service Bank has an outstanding team at its Yellville location. Just ask customer Joseph “J.J.” Campbell.

Joseph is the owner of Archer’s Pro Shop in Yellville. Located on Hwy. 62 in Cotter (Baxter County), the business has operated for about 10 years and is an archery only shop. “If you are a bowhunter, we’re the place to come,” he said in describing the business.

Initially when he opened the pro shop, Joseph banked with another financial institution based on his previous experience with a similar shop in Hot Springs. “I was not super excited about the service,” he said.

Joseph’s son, Christian, banked with First Service and praised the associates and the outstanding customer service he received. “We got such good reports from Christian,” Joseph said.

After he became acquainted with several First Service bankers and based on the high praise from Christian, Joseph decided to move his accounts to First Service. “They were the reason we switched over,” he said, citing the service provided by Bethany Hoyt, Amy Still, Courtney Underwood and Tori Due. “They all do such a wonderful job.”

While there is a location closer to his business, Joseph is so happy with the customer service he receives at the Yellville location, he makes a special trip just to bank there. He admits that is quite the testimonial, especially in light of higher gas prices.

“They are one of the reasons we are able to be successful, for sure,” Joseph said.

When he walks in the door at the Yellville location, Joseph said there is a friendly greeting and a smile from associates. “A lot of things stand out when you walk in.”

Joseph is particularly pleased with the personal interest the staff has in his business and his accounts. He said they keep him informed about opportunities that would be beneficial and if he has a special request, they are accommodating.

“I never feel like I’m a burden or a problem,” Joseph said. “You don’t find that at other places. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.”

Joseph said it is the associates he enjoys most when he considers his customer service experience at First Service Bank. He said while other places might offer similar financial products and services, it’s the associates which set First Service apart. “I appreciate what they do and how they do it. They are there every day to help me,” he said. “First Service Bank definitely has an all-star team.”

First Service Bank, with its headquarters in Faulkner County, has been in operation for more than 60 years and has locations in Clinton, Conway, Dermott, Flippin, Greenbrier, Little Rock, Mountain View, Shirley and Yellville. For more information, visit firstservicebank.com.
