Cummins named loan officer

Harry Cummins has joined First Service Bank as a mortgage loan officer.

“As a mortgage lender, my responsibility will be helping prospective borrowers get the right mortgage to suit their needs,” Harry said. “I will also make sure that the process of gathering underwriting information and closing the loan goes smoothly.”

A recent graduate of the Walton School of Business at the University of Arkansas, Harry earned a bachelor of science in business administration degree in finance with a real estate concentration and a minor in marketing. He lives in Little Rock.

“As a recent graduate, I know my real education is only about to begin,” Harry said. “Banking is at the center of our economic system, matching investors with borrowers and providing capital for economic growth.”

In his new position, Harry is most excited about working with customers and helping them with their financial needs. “When people come to a bank for a loan, it is usually a big decision,” he said. “I am excited by the notion that I might be able to help relieve that stress by providing excellent customer service.”

It was the outstanding reputation that First Service Bank has earned that led Harry to apply. “I have heard a lot of great things about the owners and management of First Service Bank,” he said. “They have a good reputation in the community. It sounded like a team I would like to be a part of.”

First Service Bank, with its headquarters in Faulkner County, has been in operation for more than 60 years and has locations in Clinton, Conway, Dermott, Flippin, Greenbrier, Little Rock, Mountain View, Shirley, Yellville, and a new location coming soon to Maumelle.
