First Service spotlights Bethany Hoyt

First Service spotlights Bethany Hoyt

While she admits it may sound cliché, Bethany Hoyt is sincere when she says it is the family atmosphere that drew her to First Service Bank. “The bank really does treat their employees like family,” she said. “It is easy working for a company that cares so much about you and the work that you do.”

Bethany, who has worked at First Service for 15 years, is the assistant branch manager in Marion County. “I oversee day-to-day branch operations and activities at both locations in Marion County, while managing any projects and audits at our local level that need to be done,” she said.

A numbers and detail-oriented person, it was natural that Bethany would pursue a position in banking. “I knew it would allow me to exercise those strengths and the opportunity to advance in my career,” she said.

In 2008 while in high school, Bethany started as a part-time teller at First Service Bank. She began working full-time after college and moved into a head teller position. “In 2021, I was promoted to assistant branch manager for both Yellville and Flippin offices in Marion County,” she said.

Born in Mountain Home, Bethany and her husband, Timothy, have been married for 12 years. They live outside of Yellville in a community called Snow. Bethany is active in church and the youth group as well as any bank-sponsored activities in the community or school. She and her husband also coach a local youth softball team.

“We have two beautiful daughters Whitley (8) and Sadie (5),” Bethany said. “With two young daughters, most of my special interests revolve around their activities. You can find us at the creek swimming or fishing, riding four-wheelers, attending local sporting events, or spending time with family.”

Bethany said one of the things she enjoys most about her work at First Service Bank is the variety that each day brings. “Some days I am in my office working on various projects or out visiting with customers,” she said. “Some days I get the opportunity to get a teller drawer out and work on the front line if needed. The change in pace keeps each day new and exciting.”

Bethany is proud to be a First Service Bank employee and encourages everyone in Marion County to check out everything FSB has to offer. “I would invite everyone to stop by and meet us at First Service Bank. You will love how welcoming our associates are,” she said. “We are ready to help you with any of your banking needs and look forward to meeting you!”
