GREENBRIER, AR – First Service Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Julie Chambers to the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Senior Vice President (SVP) of Government Guaranteed Lending. In her new role, Julie will lead the guaranteed lending team and the accounting team, oversee financial activities, and drive innovation to serve the bank's customers better.
Julie Chambers has been an integral part of the First Service Bank family for 14 years, holding various roles within the organization, including Administrative Officer, Credit Analyst, Loan Operations Manager, and VP of Loan Operations. Most recently, Julie served as SVP of Government Guaranteed Lending, where she played a key role in growing the government guaranteed loan portfolio to help customers achieve their farm and business goals.
As CFO and SVP of Government Guaranteed Lending, Julie will continue to lead the guaranteed lending team and work to expand the government guaranteed loan portfolio further. Her responsibilities will also encompass supporting a team of expert accountants, directing and overseeing the bank's financial activities, and seeking new products and services to benefit customers. Additionally, she will take charge of budgeting and financial reporting.

Julie Chambers, who holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of the Ozarks (graduated Magna Cum Laude) and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Central Arkansas, is proud to be a part of First Service Bank's tight-knit team. In her new position, Julie aims to create efficiencies within the accounting and government guaranteed lending team workflows while seeking innovative products and services to offer customers. She views this opportunity as a way to use her extensive banking experience and financial knowledge to drive growth and enhance efficiencies bank-wide.
Julie also recognizes the importance of First Service Bank's commitment to the community. She highlighted the bank's support for military veterans through Operation Red, White, and Brave, which assists veterans in the communities they serve. As the granddaughter of two veterans, Julie profoundly appreciates the support this program offers to veterans and their families.
