Rachel Byrum knows firsthand how First Service Bank cares for customers and the community. It’s what motivated her to join the FSB team.

“My first bank account was with First Service Bank and I have always been impressed with how involved FSB is with the community of Greenbrier,” she said.

She previously worked as a mortgage loan assistant and has been at FSB for about two years. “I am work with our loan officers to submit mortgage loans to our secondary market underwriters and review and correct the conditions that the underwriters request. I also review and schedule our mortgage appraisals and final inspections,” she said.

Rachel grew up in Greenbrier, where she currently lives with her husband, Jake. A graduate of Greenbrier High School, she attended the University of Central Arkansas.  “I enjoy fishing, riding horses, working cows, playing with dogs and spending time with family,” she said.

Her decision to pursue a career in banking was driven by versality in the banking industry. “I believe that banking is one of the most versatile work professions out there because there are so many avenues to have a very enlightening and successful career,” she said.

At First Service, Rachel enjoys the team environment and commitment to customer service. “My favorite thing about my work is being a part of a great team that really cares about our borrowers and making sure that we work as hard as possible to ensure that the customer has a smooth loan process,” she said. “First Service Bank is one of the best businesses that I have been blessed to be a part of. They don’t just think of their customers and employees as a number. We are all cared for and treated with great respect, highly thought of and rewarded!”
