First Service names regional board members

First Service Bank recently announced six additions to its Little Rock regional board.

New board members are Bryan Day, Debra L. Hope, Jordan P. Johnson (not pictured), Jodiane Tritt, Kathy Wild and Wes Zwiegers. 

“We are honored to add these new members to our regional board,” said Tom Grumbles, president and CEO. “They each bring a wealth of experience and knowledge which will be beneficial in their advisory role assisting First Service Bank.”

Bryan Day

As executive director of the Little Rock Port Authority since 2014, Bryan Day works closely with the industries located within the 4,000-acre industrial park. He also oversees the Port Authority Railroad which is served daily by the Union Pacific and Burlington Northern Railroads.

Bryan has been involved with state and local government for more than 35 years. The wide array of positions he has held has allowed him to focus on building and strengthening communities. Prior to his current position, Bryan spent 20 years working for the City of Little Rock, serving as assistant city manager and also as director of Little Rock Parks and Recreation.

His professional activities include serving as a member of the St. Louis Federal Reserve Transportation Advisory Council. In addition, he is a board member on the Arkansas Oklahoma Port Operators Association and the Inland Rivers, Ports, and Terminals Association. He also serves on the executive committee of the National Waterways Council. In 2017, he was appointed as a charter member of the Arkansas State Parks and Recreation Foundation.

Bryan received his undergraduate and master of public administration degrees from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He has two children.

Debra L. Hope

As a distinguished professional, Debra L. Hope has a wealth of experience in both the public and private sectors. She currently serves as a managing member of Titan General Contractors, which specializes in hotel renovations and commercial/residential property management with a focus on Arkansas and Oklahoma. 

With a career that spans 42 years, Debra has held pivotal roles as chief financial officer for the Arkansas Office of Attorney General and chief fiscal officer for the Arkansas Department of Human Services. She contributed to the efficiency and success of both organizations. 

Debra and her husband, William "Bill" Hope Jr., live in Saline County. They have three children and eight grandchildren. In their leisure time, Debra and Bill find joy in exploring new destinations through their shared passion for travel and nurturing their green thumbs in their beloved garden.

Jordan P. Johnson 

With more than 17 years of communications experience, Jordan P. Johnson owns JPJ Consulting, which represents public and private companies, municipal utilities, agricultural entities and nonprofits. He has also served as a public-policy commentator for several media entities throughout Arkansas, including Talk Business, Arkansas Business and all broadcast media markets in the region.

Specializing in environmental communications, Jordan is known for building unconventional partnerships between private companies, public entities and non-governmental organizations to find solutions to public issues. Formerly, Jordan was senior vice president, director of strategic communications and a member of the board of directors at Cranford Johnson Robinson Woods (CJRW).

Jordan’s community service includes coaching youth baseball in Little Rock. He is the past president of the Arkansas Foodbank Board and former board chairman of Riverfest. In 2014, Jordan was named to the University of Arkansas National Alumni Board as a lifetime member. He previously served on the Arkansas Prostate Cancer Foundation and was appointed by the Little Rock City Board of Directors to the Little Rock Parks and Recreation Commission. 

Jordan has been featured in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette’s “High Profile” section for his work in renovating the old Rock Island Railroad Bridge into the Clinton Presidential Park Bridge. He was also honored by Arkansas Business as part of its distinguished “40-Under-40,” a list of individuals who are making a difference in Arkansas.

A graduate of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, Jordan earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism with an emphasis on public relations. While managing his team at CJRW, Jordan received his juris doctor degree from the William H. Bowen School of Law. 

Born and raised in Bryant, Jordan earned a black belt from the American Taekwondo Association by the age of 7. He now lives and raises his three children in Little Rock alongside his wife, Angie.

Jodiane Tritt

As executive vice president of the Arkansas Hospital Association, Jodiane is second in command to the president of the association. She also serves as chief legal counsel and is responsible for the efficient and effective operational, financial and personnel management of the association. She previously served as vice president of government relations.

Jodiane is a member of the State Association of Government Relations Officers of the American Hospital Association, Arkansas Society of Professional Lobbyists, Arkansas Society of Association Executives, the American Bar Association, Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity and Arkansas Public Health Association.

Jodiane gives back to the community by serving as a board member of the Child Protection Center and the Arkansas Society of Association Executives. Her community service also includes the Arkansas Public Health Association – Legislation Committee Chair, UALR Law School Self-Study Long Range Curriculum Planning Committee, Environmental Law Group, Hendrix Biological Society Honors Club and Alpha Epsilon Delta – Honors Pre-Medical Society.

A graduate of Hendrix College with a bachelor of arts degree in biology, Jodiane earned a juris doctor degree from the William H. Bowen School of Law in Little Rock. She and her husband, Jamie Tritt, have three children.

Kathy Wild

With more than 22 years of sales experience, Kathy Wild is a professional sales representative at Quest. She previously worked as a diabetes care specialist at Novo Nordisk for 12 years and Eli Lilly and Company for 10 years.

Kathy earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Kathy serves the community as a volunteer for the JDRF Walk, Camp Aldersgate, ADA Expo, Arkansas Foodbank, Operation Christmas Child and UALR Spectacular. She has three children.

Wes Zwiegers 

As a wealth advisor at Legacy Capital in Little Rock, Wes works in the wealth management department, where he specializes in higher net-worth families. He has been at Legacy for three and a half years.

Originally from South Africa, Wes came to the U.S. in 2009 to play college golf at Arkansas State University. He graduated from ASU with a double major in accounting and finance. After college, he worked for Frost Accounting as a CPA before joining Stephens, Inc. in institutional equity research.

He and his wife, Jennifer, serve on the Spark! Committee at the Museum of Discovery. The annual Spark! event honors those who have overcome challenges and demonstrated ability in the fields of STEM.
