First Service Bank is thrilled to announce the appointment of Hallie Calvin as their new Commercial Loan Officer based out of the Little Rock office. With an impressive 37 years of experience in the banking industry, including 19 years of specialized expertise in commercial real estate lending, Hallie is a valuable addition to the First Service Bank team.
Hallie brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her new role, having spent nearly four decades in the banking and lending sector. Her extensive commercial real estate lending background positions her to significantly impact the bank's growth and success.
Hallie, who grew up in Hot Springs, now calls Benton, Arkansas, her home. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (B.S.B.A) from Henderson State University. Hallie proudly spoils her two grand nieces, Lilly Cate and Daisy, as well as her grand-nephew, Calvin.
Hallie is a seasoned professional and an active member of her community. She is a Founding Board Member of Metro Little Rock's Commercial Real Estate Council and serves as the Programs Committee Chair. In addition, she dedicates her time to Reading Tutoring with AR Kids Read, showcasing her commitment to both the business and educational communities.
Hallie's inspiration for her career in banking goes back to her childhood. She fondly remembers her mother's role as the secretary to the president of the local bank and the special moments she spent visiting the bank. "Mr. Penick would always take me into his office and give me suckers," she reminisced, highlighting the early influence that fueled her passion for banking.
When asked about her decision to join First Service Bank, Hallie emphasized her attraction to the bank's values. "I was attracted to FSB because of it being a smaller, family-owned, community bank. After being at a large corporate bank for several years, I am looking forward to the change."
In her new role as Commercial Loan Officer, Hallie is excited about the opportunities to help First Service Bank establish and grow its presence in Saline County and beyond. She is eager to leverage her expertise to contribute to the bank's success and enhance its community engagement.
Tom Grumbles, CEO of First Service Bank, warmly welcomed Hallie Calvin to the team, stating, "We are delighted to welcome Hallie Calvin to our team. Her extensive experience and commitment to community engagement align perfectly with our values as a community bank. With Hallie's expertise, we look forward to expanding our presence and providing exceptional service to our customers in Little Rock and beyond."
First Service Bank is confident that Hallie Calvin's wealth of experience and dedication will contribute significantly to the bank's continued growth and success.
