First Service Bank, Promotes Laura Stumbaugh to Training and Development Manager

First Service Bank is excited to announce the promotion of Laura Stumbaugh to Training and Development Manager. Laura, who has been with First Service Bank for three and a half years, previously served as Assistant Branch Manager, where she played a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring excellent customer service.

In her new role, Laura will collaborate with the different departments of the bank to help create and implement new training programs, help employees grow their skills, and ensure the team stays up-to-date and effective. She will also focus on supporting professional development and improving organizational teamwork.

"I’m excited to help others grow and develop their skills," Laura said.  “I’m looking forward to building training programs that really make a difference and help my coworkers grow and succeed. It’s a great chance for me to be more involved in shaping the team and improving how we all work together.”

Laura, originally from Hector, AR, now resides in Greenbrier with her husband, Zach, and their two daughters, Cate and Ava. She has over eight years of experience in the banking industry and is a graduate of Hector High School.

One of Laura's favorite aspects of working at First Service Bank is the family-oriented environment and the strong emphasis on internal promotions. “First Service fosters a family atmosphere that you can’t get anywhere else. I also appreciate how much the bank supports internal promotions. It’s a big part of why I’m so happy here and I know it’s a big part of why others stay as well,” Laura shared.

In her new role, Laura looks forward to working directly with various teams across the bank, helping coworkers hone their skills, and making a real impact on their professional growth. She is also excited to be more involved in shaping the team and enhancing how everyone collaborates.

Robin Hackett, COO of First Service Bank, expressed her confidence in Laura’s abilities and the value she will bring to her new position. "Laura has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to excellence and a passion for helping others succeed. Her experience, dedication, and enthusiasm make her the perfect fit for the role of Training and Development Manager. We are thrilled to see her take on this new challenge and know she will have a significant impact on our team's growth and development," Hackett said.

Laura is also passionate about the impact First Service Bank has on the community. "First Service makes a difference by focusing on local needs and building personal relationships. We are always involved in community events and support local businesses, which helps the whole area thrive. For me, it feels great to be part of something that has a real, positive impact on the community and helps people right where they live," she added.
